Salvia Essential Oil

PROPERTIES 

 
This herb belongs to the Labiatae family. 
 
The essential oil is extracted from the dried leaves in the sun and crown of the plant, where the purest extracts. It native to the Mediterranean, is cultivated in China. 
 
Other essential oils that work well with it are: lemon grass, sandalwood, bergamot, hyssop, lavender, lemon, rosemary and violet leaf oil. 
 
The aroma may not mix well with everything. 
 
HOME USE 
 
Skin: works by relieving congested skin, it also improves the skin prone to sagging. 
 
Hair: effective in reducing hair loss. Add a few drops in the rinse after shampooing for dandruff hair fatty. 
 
It is advisable for skin problems which can benefit from its antibacterial properties and also in case of dandruff or oily hair. 
 
Feet: For feet that sweat, mix two drops of essential oil with a tablespoon and sprinkle talcum powder in the socks or shoes. 
 
Teeth: You can make a homemade toothpaste, mixing equal parts clay with powdered sage (dried leaves and crush) and adding two drops of essential oil. 
 
If hoarseness, hoarseness or sore throat, gargle with water and two drops of essential oil diluted in a tablespoon of salt. 
 
It is very beneficial for their anti-inflammatory and anti-wrinkle properties, relieves muscle tension pain. It is antiperspirant, deodorant, antiseptic, refreshing baths fit for summer. 
 
CAUTION: should not be used with pregnant women.

PROPERTIES 
 
The essential oil has sedative properties and balancing CNS. Indicated in case of nervousness and insomnia.
