Beta-carotene is a color pigment belonging to a group of plant substances called carotenoids. It offers a wide range of yellow and orange tones, found in many fruits and vegetables, ie carrots, cantaloupe and mango.

Beta-carotene is a safe source of vitamin A because the body converts beta-carotene into vitamin A when vitamin A levels are low. Beta-carotene as a physiological antioxidant may also prevent damage caused by free radicals.

Composition: Suspension of B-carotene micronized in vegetable food grade sunflower oil

It contains DL-alpha-Tocopherol as Antioxidant.

Appearance: reddish brown suspension

Solubility: Soluble in oil, insoluble in water

Concentration:> or = 30% Beta-carotene (455nm = 2500 in hexane)

Conservation: outside light
