Dosage: Between 25% and 50% in shampoos, bath gels and liquid soaps (to achieve a real concentration of detergent active matter between 7 and 15% of the final product).

APPLICATION: Surfactant. Pharmacy and cosmetics. Raw material for the manufacture of shampoos and foaming preparations for baths.

NOTE: Store in a well-closed, dry container, and protect from direct light and humidity at a temperature not exceeding 30ºC.

 

Application and use:

  • In everyday products, SLES is an anionic surfactant, and is used to produce shampoos, soaps, and toothpastes due to its emulsifying and cleansing properties.
  • SLES uses hand washing and laundry detergents. Additionally, it is used in carpet cleaners and cleaners.
  • In hair products, SLES is used to produce dandruff treatment products, hair gels, hair setting sprays, and conditioners.
  • In dental care products, SLES is used to produce mouthwashes, toothpaste, and teeth whitening products.
  • In grooming products, SLES is used to produce make-up removers, lip balms, foundations, concealers, facial cleansers, shaving creams, facial gel, liquid hand soap, and scrubs.


It is a detergent, surfactant found in numerous personal care products (soap, shampoo, toothpaste) and is an effective lathering agent.

It is a surfactant used in cosmetic products for its great cleansing and emulsifying power.

This product is capable of developing all its foaming power, even at low temperatures.

Its high compatibility with the skin and its moisturizing and emulsifying capacity make it one of the most used raw materials in cosmetic products.

SLES can be mixed with a large number of detergent substances in any proportion and also with other active ingredients and special additives.

SLES in appropriate concentrations is considered safe for health.

The Occupational Health and Safety Administration OSHA, International Agency for Cancer Research IARC have concluded that this product is not carcinogenic.
