Shikakai is very rich in saponins (the natural soap), and is used in India to wash the hair, also cleaning the scalp, while achieving a smooth and silky hair.

Very used to prevent dandruff and promote hair growth. The Shikakai, comes from a small shrub that grows in India, which is called "Acacia Concinna". The pods of this shrub have been used in traditional Indian medicine since time immemorial for hair care. The meaning of Shikakai is "Fruit of the Hair", having many benefits for the hair, with its adjusted PH.

How to prepare your own shampoo with Shikakai:
For a hair of about 20 cm. Of approx. Uses 25 gr. Of powder of Shikaki and about 50 ml. of water. Once the corresponding amounts have been prepared, heat the water, pour the Shikakai and stir until a completely homogeneous paste is obtained. Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes. Apply it on wet hair giving a gentle massage and leave it for 5 minutes. Rinse well with warm water.
