Ultra O Active is an excellent biocompatible active, quickly absorbed deep into the skin, restoring healthy suppleness and flexibility without leaving an oily residue. It regenerates, moisturises and nourishes the skin. 

Ultra O Active presents anti-glycation properties for a global anti-aging result : reduction of 45% of the AGE formation already at 1% of use. 

In addition Ultra O Active neutralizes oxidative stress; the anti-oxidant property has been demonstrated by the DPPH test : reduction by 50% of free radicals formation at a concentration of 2,35%.  

Ultra O Active has SPF booster properties, inhibits redness and reduces the dehydration effect. 

Ultra O Active forms emulsions with fine particle size and also enhances wetting of pigments. 

In haircare applications, Ultra O Active participates in the nourishment of hair bulbs and alleviates dryness of the hair and scalp.

Ultra O Active is a super refined natural and renewable concentrate of Olive Oil Unsaponifiables, where the main active substance is Squalene (min. 85%). 
The Squalene molecule is a structurally unique natural triterpene compound that is one of the main components (about 13%) of the sebum lipids and is a vital element in skin protection.  

Ultra O Active appears to function in the skin as a quencher of singlet oxygen, protecting human skin surfaces from lipid peroxidation due to exposure to UV light and other sources of oxidation that can damage collagen fibers and causes the accumulation of abnormal elastin.

It is known that the presence of Squalene in the sebum decreases significantly with age making the skin progressively more sensitive to environmental stress factors.
