In natural cosmetics, Sharomix 705 is a broad spectrum preservative, like Euxyl K712, composed of a combination of organic acids free of formaldehyde, halogens, parabens and ethoxylated compounds.It was developed to meet the emerging demand for gentle and environmentally friendly cosmetic raw materials. It is composed of organic acids dissolved in benzyl alcohol. Being liquid, these products are easy to incorporate into formulations.

Sharomix 705 has an antimicrobial activity based on organic acids, which are active in their undissociated form, this product will have its best performance at slightly acidic pH. All components of Sharomix 705 are on the Ecocert and Cosmos Standard approved cosmetic preservative lists.

Sharomix 705 is suitable for use in lightening and non-lightening products such as creams, lotions, shampoos, liquid soap, shower gels, and hair conditioners. Everybody
the components are included in the list of preservatives approved by Ecocert / Cosmos.

Sharomix 705 is stable up to 80 ° C. However, prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures should be avoided.

Recommended usage rates for these mixes range from 0.6% to 1.2%.

Physical properties:

 

• Water soluble.
• Viscous yellowish liquid that has a characteristic sweetish odor.

Cosmetic properties:

• It is antibacterial and antifungal with a broad spectrum.
• Prevents the proliferation of bacteria, yeasts and fungi.

Most effective pH range:

• Effective at acidic pH 5.5 to 6.5.

Incompatibilities:

• Avoid use with strong oxidizing agents, acids, aluminum, iron.
