Properties and Uses:
The skin of the orange contains essential oil that has an antispasmodic action, slightly sedative and hypnotic; Flavonoids confer vitamin P (increases the tone of venous walls, reduces permeability and increases capillary resistance); The bitter principles act as tonic, eupéptico appetizer and cholagogue; And pectin gives it hypocholesterolemic and demulcent properties.
