Extract in a Propylene Glycol / Water medium (80:20) of the flowers of "Calendula officinalis L." with a plant / extract ratio of 1/2.

Marigolds are a genus of about 12-20 species of annual herbaceous plants of the family Asteraceae (daisies) and are native to the Mediterranean and the Middle East.

Pharmacological studies have suggested that Calendula extracts have anti-viral, anti-genotoxic, and anti-inflammatory. Calendula is used to treat acne, reduce inflammation, control bleeding and soothe irritated tissues. There is limited evidence that calendula cream, or ointment, it is effective in the treatment of dermatitis tests.
