In addition, it has cushioning and neutralizing properties that help reduce the potential for skin irritation.   This acid is derived from amino acids and, in particular, L-glutamic acid is the type used in natural cosmetics. Its ability to hydrate and condition skin and hair makes it an ideal ingredient in personal care products.   Dosage: As a hair conditioner 1-3%. As a moisturizer in body and facial creams 1 to 5%   Storage: Store in a cool, dark place, away from light. Store at room temperature higher than 30ºC
