Laurel Bayas oil (virgin 1st pressure bio)  (Lard Laurel)

Botanical name: Laurus nobilis

It is obtained by cold pressing of the laurel berries. At low temperatures presents semi-solid appearance.

It is a thick liquid, dark green.

Also it is known as "butter laurel".

Suitable for the external treatment of the skin diseases caused by fungi. Acetic acid has fungicidal properties. It also has antibacterial properties and regenerating the skin. It is used in cases of burns, abscesses, acne, eczema, psopiasis, cradle cap. Etc.

Other compounds: acetic acid, cineol (30-50%), linalool (10%), geraniol, sabinene, limonene, terpinene, pinene (10%), alfaterpineno, beta-pinene, gamma-terpinene, lactones. Minerals like calcium, iron and sulfur fósfora.
Recommended as an ingredient in soaps, for sensitive skin and problems such as acne, eczema, fungal infections, psoriasis. For its antiseptic qualities, even as intimate soap. Soothes the skin and regulates excess sebum.
We can make a real soap "Aleppo", with a percentage of 20-40% oil of laurel (berries), and the remaining olive oil.

For their anti-inflammatory alpha-pinene and beta-pinene properties it can be used directly on the skin, as liniment or ointment.
