Cade oil (juniper oil)
Botanical name: Juniperus oxycedrus
Extraction method: Pirogenización (form retardant) timber
Very thick dark brown liquid, almost black, with a smoky aroma and balsamic
Very rich in terpenes, pinene, cardineno, guaiacol, cresol, among others.
Cade oil is often used as an ingredient of liniments and ointments for chronic skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, parasitic disorders and various types of ringworm. Used diluted in a massage oil.
Its properties include: analgesic, anti-microbial, anti-pruritic, antiseptic, fungicide, disinfectant and parasiticide.
It is a good remedy for some scalp problems such as excess fat, dandruff and even lice. You can add a few drops of oil to shampoo Cade.
Soaps not used as saponified oil. It is added to the trace as "superfatting".
It can be used at rates of up to 8%
